The film was made to present Sunny Deol in a strong-action role combined with drama and family emotion.
The story revolves around Inspector Rajveer Singh who is assigned to protect a rich young heir Abbas after the heir’s parents die in a plane crash. Rajveer originally considers it a menial job, tensions follow, and then the real threat emerges when a criminal Nazir targets Abbas.
The film attempted to blend a protective-cop theme, corporate inheritance intrigue and the hero’s redemption.

The actor Rahul Dev won the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Male for this film.

राहुल देव को इस फिल्म के लिए IIFA स्टार डेब्यू ऑफ द ईयर – मेल का अवार्ड मिला।
उन्हें फिल्मफेयर में सर्वश्रेष्ठ निगेटिव भूमिका के लिए नामांकन मिला।
