“Entertainment” was made as a full-fledged family entertainer with the intent to deliver laughter, emotions, and a social message — that even animals have a heart and emotions just like humans. The directors Sajid-Farhad, who are known for their comic writing in Bollywood, wanted to make their directorial debut with a film that blends slapstick comedy and emotional bonding between a man and a dog.
