“Knock Out” was made to present a fast-paced thriller inspired by social corruption and political scams in India. The makers wanted to create a high-intensity, one-location drama similar to the Hollywood film Phone Booth, but with an Indian social message.
The film was heavily inspired by ‘Phone Booth’ (2002), which later created a legal controversy.
